THE SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TRAINING AND COMMISSIONING OF SCANNERS, PERSONAL COMPUTERS AND RELATED SOFTWARE

This Invitation for Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online (UNDB online) No. AfD888-02/16 of 3rd February, 2016 and on the African Development Bank’s Internet Website (www.afdb.org) on 3rd February, 2016.
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received a Credit from the African Development Bank (AfDB), towards the cost of the Transport Sector Support Program (TSSP), and intends to apply a part of these funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for the Supply, Installation, Training and Commissioning of Scanners, Personal Computers and Related Software.
TANROADS now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers for the Supply, Installation, Training and Commissioning of Scanners, Personal Computers and Related Software as tabulated below:

The above items constitute ONE LOT and Tenderers shall quote for all items and quantities in the respective Lot. Tenderers not quoting for all items and quantities in the Lot will be considered non-responsive and rejected during the preliminary evaluation process.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures Specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the off1ce of the Secretary, TANROADS Headquarters Tender Board, 4th Floor, Airtel House, Ali Hassan Mwinyi/Kawawa Roads Junction, Dar es Salaam from 8:00 hours to 16.30 hours local time, Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except on Public Holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document (5) in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenderer upon submission of a written application to the address given in paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS. 200,000.00 (Tanzania Shillings two hundred thousand only) which has to be paid with reference to Government’s e-Payment Gateway System (GePG) Control Number to be issued by the Accounts Section at TANROADS Headquarters.
All tenders must be accompanied with a Tender Securing Declaration 1n the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
All tenders in one (1) original plus two (2) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Secretary, TANROADS Headquarters Tender Board, 4th Floor, Airtel House, Ali Hassan Mwinyi/Kawawa Roads Junction, Dar es Salaam at or before 10:00 Hours local time on 11th June, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the TANROADS Conference Room, 4th Floor, Airtel House, All Hassan Mwinyi/Kawawa Roads, Junction, Dar es Salaam.
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
