TENDER FOR THE NON EXCLUSIVE MULTI-CLIENT 2D SEISMIC DATA ACQUISITION, PROCESSING, INTERPRETATION AND MARKETING (PROJECT) IN THE DEEP-OFFSHORE AREA EASTERN ZANZIBAR

1 The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar through the Zanzibar Petroleum Regulatory Authority (ZPRA) invites Geophysical Companies to submit bids in respect of non-exclusive multi-client 2D seismic data acquisition, processing, interpretation and marketing (Project).
2. The survey is to be carried out in the eastern area of Zanzibar deep offshore area. located east of longitude 39°55’ 0” E to 41°40’ 0” E and latitude 4°40’ O” S to 6°15’ 0” S
3. The area is in water depths between 500m and 3500m with approximately size of 36,065.45 sqkm.
4. The survey is planned to be conducted during the period of First Quarter 2020.
5. Bidders may apply as individual company or a consortium of companies. All tenders in one original plus four copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in sealed envelopes addressed to Managing Director, Zanzibar Petroleum Regulatory Authority (ZPRA), P. O. Box 4746, Zanzibar. The documents may be hand delivered or sent by courier/registered post and deposited in the Tender Box located at First Floor, Pool Room, ZPRA Head Office, P.O. Box 4746 , Forodhani , Zanzibar.
6. The outer cover of the tenders shall be clearly marked “TENDER NUMBER SMZ/N01/W/ICB/2019-20/30 FOR “NON EXCLUSIVE MULTI-CLIENT 2D SEISMIC DATA ACQUISITION, PROCESSING, INTERPRETATION AND MARKETING (PROJECT) IN THE DEEP-OFFSHORE AREA EASTERN ZANZIBAR. NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 12:00 HRS ON FRIDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER 2019”.
7. The deadline for submission of bids is 12.00 hours local time on Friday 20th September 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’
8. representatives who choose to attend, at Zanzibar Petroleum Regulatory Authority (ZPRA) Head Office, in the Conference room, First Floor, Forodhani, Zanzibar.
9. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not physically received on time, Tenders not opened and read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
10. A complete set of Bidding Documents in the English language may be obtained from the Secretary of the ZPRA Tender Board, in the Pool Room, First Floor, Forodhani, P. O. Box 4746, Zanzibar or through email “ [email protected] ” upon confirmation of payment of non-refundable fee of US$ 50,000.00.
