SUPPLY OF WATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS, LABORATORY REAGENTS AND EQUIPMENTS
Invitation for Tenders
1.This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in PPRA Tender Portal, Tanzania Procurement Journal (TPJ) Issue no. ISSN: 18216021 VOL XXII NO. 32 dated Tuesday 6th August, 2019.
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Dodoma Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (DUWASA) during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply of Water Treatment Chemicals, Laboratory Reagents and Equipment’s
3. The Dodoma Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (DUWASA) now invites sealed tenders from eligible “national” Suppliers for carrying out the Supply of Water Treatment Chemicals, Laboratory Reagents and Equipment’s
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined 1n the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Tenders may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the DUWASA Tender Board Secretary, Dodoma Urban Water supply and Sanitation Authority Box 431 Dodoma. Email; [email protected]: Along Mkapa road Plot 9, Block B: Room No 26 from 8.00AM to 4.30PM working hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000.00

8. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
9. All tenders in one original plus three copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address: Secretary of Tender Board, Dodoma Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (DUWASA),
10. Along Mkapa Road, Block B Plot 9, PO. Box 431 DODOMA , Room N0: 26 at or before 10:00 am on 11th November, 2019.
11. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not Opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
