- This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in UN Development Business Issue no. WB-P475857-02/20 dated 4th February, 2020.
- The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Productive Social Safety Net 11. This project will be jointly financed by the Agency for International Development, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis & Malaria, International Fund for Agriculture Development, The government of NORWAY and OPEC. The Tanzania Social Action Fund the implementing agency for this project, intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments for procurement of Thermal Scanners.
3.The Tanzania Social Action Fund now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers of Thermal Scanners.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may inspect the Tendering Documents on the TASAF Website at: www.tasaf.go.tz or obtain further information through the address indicated below. - A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English is available and can be downloaded from the TASAF Website at: www.tasaf.go.tzby interested Tenderers. Amendments and clarifications to the Tendering Documents if applicable will also be posted on the same Website.
All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents. - All tenders must be addressed as indicated below and submitted via e-mail at or before 10:00 hours East African time on 10th July, 2020 Electronic Tendering will not be permitted except e-mail submission as detailed in ITB BDS 21.2 ins view of COVID-19. Late Tenders will be rejected. In view of COVID-19, the public opening will be conducted immediately after the deadline time for submission through live stream video and will be recorded and posted for viewing through the TASAF’s website: www.tasaf.go.tz . Online tender, opening meeting details are indicated in ITB BDS 25.1.
- Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
