INVITATION FOR TENDERS

SUPPLY OF STAFF UNIFORMS FOR DAR ES SALAAM AND COAST REGIONS FOR YEAR 2018-19
1.This Invitation For Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which appeared in DAILY News dated 13th July, 2018
2. Tanzania Electric Supply Company has set aside supply for supply of Staff Uniforms for Dar es Salaam and Coast for one year 2018 19
3. The Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) now invites scaled bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of Stair Uniforms for Dar es Salaam and Coast zone for year 2018 19
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive bidding method specified in the Procurement Regulations. 2013 Government Notice No.446 read together with public procurement (Amendments) Regulations Government Notice No. 333 of 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations
5. The scope of supply will involve the supply of Staff Uniforms categorized in six (6) Iots. Bidders are free to bid for any complete lot or combination of lot(s) of their choice. The evaluation and award will be earned out on the basis of an individual kit.

6.Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information and/or inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of Zonal Procurement Specialist located at fourth floor. Room No. 319. TANESCO Zonal office, Ministry of Energy and Minerals Building, Samora Avenue, P.O. Box 2233 Dar es Salaam, Telephone/fax (255) 22 2135066/2135065 from 09:00hrs to 1630hrs on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
7. A complete set of Tendering Documents) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to die address given under paragraph 6 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee or TZS: 100, 000 plus 18% VAT amount. Payment should either be by Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to TANESCO Ltd P.O. Box 9021 Dar es Salaam.
8. All Tenders must be accompanied by original tender securing declaration in the formal provided in the bidding document.
9. All tenders in one original plus three copies, properly Tilled in. and enclosed in plain envelopes clearly marked PA001/2018-19/DZN/G/04 for Supply of Stall Uniforms for Dar es Salaam and Coast Zone for year 2018-19 NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 14:30 HOURS local time on 28th March. 2019 should be addressed to the SECRETARY, TANESCO TENDER BOARD, P.O. BOX 2233, DAR ES SALAAM to reach her at fourth floor room No. 319 not later than 14:34 HOURS local time on 28th March. 2019. Tenders will be opened thereafter in Public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in Dar es Salaam and Coast Zone Meeting Room located at fourth floor, Room No. 422 Ministry of Energy and Minerals Building, Samora Avenue.
10. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders. Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in Public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
