SUPPLY OF SERVERS FOR DISASTER RECOVERY SYSTEM
Invitation for Bids
1.This invitation for bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) that appeared in the PPRA Tender Portal, DAWASA websites, Daily News on 31 M5131, 2019.
2. Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority has set aside funds for the operation during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply of Servers for Disaster Recovery System.
3. The Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible Suppliers of the following goods:

4. Tendering will be conducted through the National competitive procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all bidders as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board, DAWASA Building, Dunga/Malanga Street, Opposite Mwananyamala Hospital, PO BOX 1573 Dar es Salaam from 0800 to 1600 hrs, on Mondays to Fridays except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Bidding Document in English may be obtained by eligible Bidders from the ofiice of the Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board upon payment of non-refundable fee of Tshs 100,000.00 from 0800 hrs to 1600 hrs local time on Mondays to Fridays except public holidays. Payment should be made to CRDB BANK A/C NO. 01J 1021921900, SWIFT code CORUTZ TZ. Interested Tenderers shall obtain control number for payment at DAWASA Office, Sokoine Drive (Gerezani) near NSSF Water front Building. The pay in slip should be submitted in order to collect tender document at the Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board, DAWASA Building, Dunga/ Malanga street, Opposite Mwananyamala Hospital, Dar es Salaam.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in an acceptable form
8. All bids in one original plus two copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below clearly marked Tender for Suppl)l 0f Servers for disaster recovery system Tender Number AE/033/2019-2020/G/24-03 at DAWASA building, Dunga/ Malanga street, Opposite Mwananyamala Hospital, Room No. 21, at or before 11:00hrs Friday 23rd August, 2019. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence 0f BidderS’ representatives who choose to attend the Opening ceremony at the DAWASA Board Room, Dunga/Malanga street. Opposite to Mwananyamala Hospital, Dar es Salaam.
9. Late Bids, Portion of Bids, Electronic Bids, Bids not Opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the Circumstances.
