Invitation for Tenders
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Daily News and Habari Leo Issue no. 0856-3812 and 1821-570X respectively dated 16th August, 2019.
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Mining Commission during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply of Security seal.
The Mining Commission now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers for the Supply of Security seal.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Method procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and are open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Mining Commission, P.0.BOX 2292, College of Business Studies and Law, Second Floor, Room number 2-15 University of Dodoma from 0830-0330 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s),in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000. Payment should be made by Government Payment Gateway (GePG).
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security of TZS 5,000,000.00 in an acceptable form in the amount of Bank guarantee or freely convertible currencies in case of foreign Tenderers.
All tenders in one original plus TWO copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Secretary of Tender Board, Mining Commission, P.0.BOX 2292, College of Business Studies and Law, Second Floor, Room number 2-15 University of Dodoma on or before 16th September,2019 at 10.00am,.Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Conference room, First Floor, College of Business Studies and Law-UNIVERSITY OF DODOMA.
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
