INVITATION TO TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF SUPPLY OF PHOTOCOPIER AND OFFICE MACHINE (LOT 2)
1. This invitation to tender follows the General Procurement Notice, which appeared in website of PPRA and Tanzania National Electronic Procurement Systems (TANePS) on 23rd July 2019.
2. The Bank of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operations of its Dodoma Branch during the financial year 2019/2020.
3. Dodoma Branch intends to use part of the funds for procurement of various office machinery and equipment Dodoma Branch now invites sealed tenders from eligible National Supplier’s for the SUPPLY of various office machinery and equipment under the following lots.
· Supply of photocopier and office machine (Lot 2).
4. Tendering will be conducted through the national competitive tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Delegated Tender Board at the Bank of Tanzania, Dodoma Branch, 16 Jakaya Kikwete Road, PO Box 2303, 40184 Dodoma First floor, Room No. 101, from 08:30 am 16: 30pm, on weekdays e Monday to Friday except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of bidding document (5) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address given in paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000.00. Payment should be effected either by electronic payment transfer (Account Namez Tender Application Fee, Account Number. 9944719917 or by Banker’s Cheque payable to the Branch Director, Bank of Tanzania, Dodoma Branch).
7. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
8. All tenders in one original plus one copy, properly filled, and enclosed in plain envelopes clearly marked the tender number and tender description must be delivered to the Secretary, Delegated Tender Board at Bank of Tanzania Dodoma Branch Office, 16 Jakaya Kikwete
Road, P.O Box 2303, 40184 Dodoma, First Floor, Room Number 101, at or before 11.00 am, Friday 15th November, 2019.
9. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the opening at the Bank of Tanzania, Dodoma l Branch, Third Floor, Meeting Room Number 326.
10. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
