SUPPLY OF ONE COMPACTOR TRUCK FOR SOLID WASTE
Invitation for Tenders
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Moshi Municipal Council during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply of one Compactor Truck for solid waste.
The Moshi Municipal Council now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Tanzanian suppliers being registered in carrying out the said Project.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive procedures specified in the Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No.446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS).
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board at Moshi Municipal Council, Room No. 35 Florida Road PO Box 318, Moshi from 7.30 am. to 3 .30 pm on Mondays to Fridays except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TSH 50 ,000/=. Payment should be by Cash or Banker’ s Cheque, payable to Moshi Municipal Council.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender securing declaration in the format provided in the Tendering documents.
All Tenders in one original plus two copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Moshi Municipal Council, Room No. 35 Florida Road, PO. Box 318, Moshi, first floor 7.30 am. to 3.30 pm before 26th, June, 2019 at 4:00 am LOCAL TIME ON WEDNESDAY. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Moshi Municipal Council Hall.
Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, and Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of circumstances.
