This invitation for Bid follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in the PPRA Tender Portal, DAWASA websites, Daily News and Notice boards on May 30, 2019.
Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority has set aside funds for the operation during the financial year 2019/ 2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the supply of manhole cleaning and sewer vacuum tanker truck
The Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible Suppliers of the following goods:

Tendering will be conducted through the National competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board, DAWASA Building, Dunga/Malanga Street Mwananyamala Area Drive P.O BOX 1573 Dar es Salaam from 0800 to 1600 hrs. on Mondays to Fridays except on public holidays.
A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be obtained by interested and eligible Bidder from the office of The Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board upon payment of non-refundable fee of Tshs 200,000.00 from 0800 to 1600 hrs, local time on Mondays to Fridays except on public holidays. Interested Tenderers shall obtain control number at DAWASA office Sokoine Drive (Gerezani) nearby Water Front Building. Payment should be made to ANY BRANCH 0F CRDB BANK A/C N0. 0111021921900, a copy of Pay in Slip should be submitted to the . Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board, DAWASA Building, Dunga/Malanga Street Mwananyamala area, Dar es Salaam.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in an acceptable form specified in the bid document for all items.
All bids in one original plus two copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below clearly marked Supply of manhole cleaning machine and sewer vacuum tanker trucks. Bid Number AE/ 033/ 2019-2020/ G/ 09 at DAWASA building at or before 11:00hrs on Friday November 29, 2019. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the opening ceremony at the Boardroom, DAWASA Tender Board, DAWASA Building, Dunga/Malanga street Mwananyamala Area, Dar es Salaam
Late Bids, Portion of Bids, Electronic Bids, Bids not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
