Supply of External Plant Materials (Copper Cable and Accessories) Using Framework Contract
Invitation for Tenders
1.The Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation has set aside funds for the operation of the telecommunications network during the financial year 2019 2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Lot 1 Supply of External Plant Materials (Copper Cable and Accessories) Under Framework Contract.
2. The Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers/Service Providers of External Plant Materials (Copper Cables and Accessories) Under Framework Contract.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the International Competitive B hiding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, Exfelcoms Building, 7th Floor, 325amora Avenue, P. 0. Box 9070, 11950 Dar es Salaam. Tel: 255 22 2 14 2568/2590; e-mail [email protected] from 08:00 hours to 16:30 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional set may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 128 150,000.00. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to TTCL Headquarter Cashier at ground floor, Extelcoms House.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in an acceptable form in the amount of 1% of the total bid value or freely convertible currencies.
7. A Tender in one original plus one copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Extelcoms Building, 7th Floor, 32 Samora Avenue, P. 0. Box 9070, 11950 Dar es Salaam at or before 14:00 HRS local time on 8th November, 2019. Tender will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening on the 12th floor, Extelecoms Building, 32 samora Avenue, 11950 Dar es Salaam.
8. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, and tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
