SUPPLY OF ESSENTIAL MEDICINES, MEDICAL EQUIPMENT OPHTHALMOLOGY PREPARATIONS, BLOOD TRANSFUSION REAGENTS AND RAPID TEST FOR HEPATITIS FOR MINISTRY OF HEALTH ZANZIBAR
INVITATION FOR TENDER
- This invitation for tender follows the general Procurement Notice for this project which appeared in Zanzibar Leo ISSN 5589 Dated 22/01/2020
- The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has a set aside funds for the operation of the Ministry of health Zanzibar during the financial year 2019-2020. It is intended that party of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the framework contract for the supply essential medicine standard medical equipment for health facilities orthopedic workshop, physiotherapy, special equipment for Mnazi Mmoja Hospital ICU Equipment Wete Hospital, Automatic X-ray flam processor and printer dental materials, supplies for blood transfusion services, ophalmological preparation and rapid test for hepatitis B&C for Ministry of Health
- The Ministry of Health Zanzibar now invite sealed renders from eligible National qualified bidders registered by Zanzibar Public Procurement Regulatory Authority as Supplier to supply of below lots

4. Tendering will be conducted the international competitive bidding procedure specified in the Public procurement( goods, works and Disposal of Public Asset by Tender) regulations 2006 – Government Notice No. 62 and are open to all tenderers as defined in the regulations
5. Interested eligible tenders may obtain further
information from and inspect the tendering document at the office of the procurement management unit Ministry of Health P.O Box 236 Makumbusho Road Mnazi Mmoja Zanzibar from 8: 00 up to 3:30 Pm Local time on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays
6. A complete set of tendering document in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenderers on the submission of written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of non-refundable fee of 100,000/= payment should be by cash to the people Bank of Zanzibar account Number 0707908000
7. All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security in acceptable form in the amount of 2.5% of contract price of freely convertible currencies
8. All tenders in one original with two copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below PMU Office at Ministry of Health Zanzibar at of before 2:00 pm 04/02/2020. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of tenders representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the ministry of health at conference room
9. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tender, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
