INVITATION FOR TENDERS
Tender No. PA/032/HQ/2018-2019/G/31
The Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation has set aside funds for the operation of the Network during the financial year 2018-2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the LOT 3: Supply of Drop Wire PVC No. 2 for New Customer Connections and Maintenance.
The Tanzania Telecommunication Corporation now invites sealed tender from eligible Supplier for Supply of Drop Wire PVC No. 2.
Tendering will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, Extelecoms Building, 7th Floor, 32 Samora Avenue, P. O. Box 9070, and 11950 Dar es Salaam. Tel: 255 22 2 14 2568/ 2890, e-mail [email protected] from 08:00 hours to 16:30 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional set may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 150,000.00. Payment should either be by Cash. Banker’s Draft or Banker’s Cheque, payable to TTCL Corporation Headquarter Cashier at ground floor.

All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender security in an acceptable form in the amount of 7% of the total bid value or freely convertible currencies in case of foreign Tenderers.
All Tenders in one original plus one copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Extelecoms Building, 7th Floor, 32 Samora Avenue, P. O. Box 9070, 119S0 Dar es Salaam at or before 14:00 HRS local time on 31st July, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the 12th floor. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, and tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
