CONTRACT TITLE SUPPLY OF DAM SAFETY WORKING TOOLS EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE

1. The government of Tanzania through the ministry of water Mow has received financing from the world bank towards the coast of the water sector support project which is part of the second development program and intends to apply part of the proceed towards payment under the contract for the procurement of Dam safety working equipment’s tools and software

3. The ministry of water now invites the sealed bids for eligible bidders for procurement of Dam safety working tools and equipment’s and software lot no2&3 as follows

iii 3D Autocad For topo development(permanent license) 3
LOT 3 BOAT, ECO, SOUNDER EQUIPMENT FOR BATHTMETRIC SURVEY AND TOTAL STATION
I                                  Complete set of total station 3
Ii Supply and train an echo sounder GPS,PC, Program 1
iii Fiber glass boat 1


Bidders may bid for a single lot two or combination of all lot but in any case bidders must quote for full quantity in each. The purchaser shall evaluate the bids for each lot and award the contract on a lot by lot basis or combination of lots whichever is more economical partial quoting of lot 2 or lot 3 will be non-responsive

3. Bidding will be conducted though the national competitive bidding procedure as specific in the world bank guidelines procurement of goods non- consulting services under the IBRD Loans and IDA Credit &grants by world bank borrowers January 201, revise July 2014 (procurement guidelines and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the procurement guidelines. In additional please refer to paragraph 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the world bank’s policy on conflict of interest

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Secretary Ministerial Tender Board, Ministry of water, [email protected] and inspect the biding document during the office hours from 8;00 to 15;30 on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidyas at the address given below Ministry of water, P.O. BOX 456, KOLON BUILDING OPPOSITE DUWASA HEAD OFFICE, PMU OFFICE 40473 DODOMA

5. A complete of set bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of written application to the application to the address and upon payment of a – refundable fee of Tanzania shillings one hundred(100,000) the method of payment will be though bank using government payment system

6. Bids must be deliver to the address below of before Tuesday 3rd March 2020 at 11;00 am local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on Tuesday 3rd March 2020 at 11:00 local time

7. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in an acceptable forms as provided in the biding document. Bid security must be addressed to permanent secretary, Ministry of water P.O. box 546 Dodoma

8. Pre-biding meeting will be held on19th February 2020 at 11:00 local time ministry of water kolon bulding PMU Offices, Chimwaga Road Dodomas Tanzania
