SUPPLY OF BULKY PRINTING PAPERS AND CONSUMABLES FOR THE PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE (VOTE 37)

INVITATION FOR TENDERS

Date: 05th September, 2019

1.This invitation for tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which appeared in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and PPRA websites; (www.ppra.go.tz&www.ppra.go.tz ) respectively.

2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Prime Minister’s Office during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the supply of bulky printing papers and consumables for the Prime Minister’s Office (Vote 37)

3. The Prime Minister’s Office now invites sealed tenders from eligible suppliers of printing papers and consumables for the Prime Minister’s Office (Vote 37).

4. Tendering will be conducted through the national competitive tendering method procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 (as amended in 2016), and is open to all tenderers as defined in the Regulations.

5. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the tendering documents at the Office of the Director of Procurement Management Unit, Prime Minister’s Office, 2 Railway Street, PO Box 980, 40480 Dodoma from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.

6. A complete set of tendering document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 50,000.00 (Tanzanian shillings fifty thousand only). Payment should either be by cash, banker’s draft, or banker’s cheque, payable to Permanent Secretary, Prime Minister’s office Policy and Coordination.

7. All tenders must be accompanied by a bid securing declaration in the format provided in the tendering documents.

8. All tenders in one (01) original plus two (02) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelope must be delivered to the Office of the Director of Procurement Management Unit, Prime Minister’s Office, 2 Railway Street, PO. Box 980, 40480 Dodoma, Room No. 29 on or before Wednesday 18th September, 2019 at 12:00 hours local time. tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of tenderers’ representatives who will choose to attend the opening at the conference room, Prime Minister’s Office, Dodoma.

9. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
