Invitation for Tenders
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for Tanzania Bureau of Standards for the 2018/2019 financial year that appeared in the Guardian newspaper, issue No. 7306 of 20 June, 2018.
Tanzania Bureau of Standards has set aside funds for the operation of the Bureau during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended
that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Supply, Installation Testing and Commissioning of Laboratory Testing Equipment.
Bidders are allowed to bid for one lot or more lots but shall bid and quote for all items and quantities on selected Lot/s as per schedule of requirements but award will be on item by item basis.
Tanzania Bureau of Standards now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers of Laboratory Testing Equipment;
Tendering will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures specif1ed in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations,
interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the off1ce of the Secretary, Tanzania Bureau of Standards Tender Board, P. O. Box 9524, Dar es Salaam, Sam Nujoma/Morogoro Roads. Ubungo Area from 08.00 to 15.00 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional set may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the Submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 6 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings One Hundred Thousand (TZS 100,000.00). Payment should be done through Government e-Payment Gateway W6) Where the bidder should get control number at the office of the secretary, Tanzania Bureau of Standards Tender Board.
All Tenders must be accompanied with a Tender Securing-Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
All tenders in one original plus three (3) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the office of the Secretary. Canteen Block, Tanzania Bureau of Standards Headquarters Building, Dar es Salaam, Sam Nujoma/Morogoro Roads. Ubungo Area at or before 10 h00, Tuesday, 28th May, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Conference Room, Tanzania Bureau of Standards Headquarters, Junction Morogoro/Sam Nujoma Roads. Ubungo Area.
Late tenders, portions of tenders. electronic tenders, tenders net received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation Irrespective of the circumstances.
