Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Passenger Lift at Bank of Tanzania Mtwara Branch, Shangani Residential Flats Block “B” in Mtwara Municipality.

1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Public Procurement Regulatory Website (PPRA –website).
2. The Bank of Tanzania has set aside funds for its operations during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payment under the Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Passenger Lift at Bank of Tanzania Mtwara Branch, Shangani Residential Flats Block “B” in Mtwara Municipality.
3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works, Non-Consultant Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446.
4. The Bank of Tanzania now invites sealed bids from Eligible and Registered by CRB as Specialist Mechanical Works – Lift and Escalators Installation & Maintenance class three(3) and above for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Passenger Lift at Bank of Tanzania Mtwara Branch, Shangani Residential Flats Block “B” in Mtwara Municipality.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the Secretary, BOT Delegated Tender Board – Mtwara Branch, at 3rd Floor Room No 313, Tel: +255 22 2232650 – 1 Fax: +255 22 22 32664 from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.30pm to 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 6 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000.00. Payment should either be by Electronic Payment Transfer (Account Name: Intermediary Domestic Accounts, Account Number: 9924 DAMTW or Banker’s Cheque payable to Bank of Tanzania – Mtwara Branch)
7. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Bidding documents.
8. All bids in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked “Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Passenger Lift at Bank of Tanzania Mtwara Branch, Shangani Residential Flats Block “B” in Mtwara Municipality.
9. .” must be delivered to the address given under paragraph 5 above on or before 11:00hours, 29th April, 2019. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter at the Bank of Tanzania – Mtwara Branch, 3rd Floor – Room No. 313 – Mtwara.
10. Late Bids, Portion of Bids, Electronic Bids, Bids not received, Bids not opened and not read out in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
