Invitation for Bids (IFB)
This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Tanzania Procurement Journal Newspaper Issue N01821-6021 Vol Xi -No.32 dated 7th Aug,2018
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of The Institute of Social Work in the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of One Unit 400kVA / 320kw Generator Set prime Rated Diesel Driven for The Institute of Social Work Dar es Salaam.
The Rector, Institute of Social Work now invites sealed Tenders from eligible suppliers for Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of One Unit 400kVA / 320kW Prime Rated Generator Set.
Tendering will be conducted through National Competitive tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 and Public Procurement (amended) Regulations, GN No.333 of 2016 and is open to all bidders as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and arrangements for viewing and inspection of the site from the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, Institute of Social Work, PO Box 3375, Dar es Salaam from 07:30hrs to 15:30, Mondays to Fridays excluding public holidays.
A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a WRITTEN APPLICATION to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings One hundred Thousand Only Tshs. 100,000.00. Payment should be through Government e-Payment Gateway (GePG) upon obtaining control number from Rector, Institute of Social Work.
The bid in one original plus three(3) copies properly f1lled in, accompanied with Tender Securing Declaration, enclosed in separate plain inner envelopes and marked ‘Original’ and ’Copy’ as appropriate, sealed in one plain outer envelope and properly addressed to: The Secretary, Institute of Social Work Tender Board, ROBox3375, Dar es Salaam. ”TENDER NO. PA/055/2018-19/HQ/G/17 FOR SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF ONE UNIT 400kVA / 320k”! PRIME RATED GENERATOR SET” at or before 11.00 hours local time on Monday , 18th JUNE2019. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at institute of Social Work, Dar es Salaam, Conference Room.
Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids, bids not received and bids not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
