SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION (CCTV) SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM AT LAKE MANYARA AND MTWARA AIRPORTS
Invitation for Tenders
Date: 01st July, 2019
1. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Tanzania Airports Authority during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Surveillance System at Lake Manyara and Mtwara Airports.
2. The Tanzania Airports Authority now invites sealed tenders from eligible National Suppliers to Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Surveillance System at Lake Manyara and Mtwara Airports.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, Tanzania Airports Authority, Terminal 1, P.O. Box 18000 Dar es Salaam from 07.30 to 15.30 hrs Local time on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs.100,000/= (Tanzanian Shillings: One Hundred Thousand only). Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Cashier Office, Tanzania Airports Authority, Terminal 1.
6. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Document.
7. All Tenders in one (1) original plus two (2) copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address The Secretary, Tanzania Airports Authority Tender Board, TAA Head Office, Terminal One, P.O. Box 18000 Dar es salaam at or before Monday, 15th July, 2019 which is the deadline for submission of tenders. The inner and outer covers/envelopes shall also bear the address of The Secretary, TAA Tender Board and be clearly marked “TENDER No. AE-027/2018-2019/HQ/G/01 SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION (CCTV) SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM AT LAKE MANYARA AND MTWARA AIRPORTS. DO NOT OPEN BEFORE 10:00 AM on Monday, 15th July, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the PMU Conference room-TAA HQs -Terminal One.
8. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, and not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
