Invitation for Tenders
The Tanzania Electric Supply Company limited (TANESCO) has set aside funds for its operations during financial year 2019/20 and it Intends to apply part of the proceeds of its funds to cover eligible payments under the contract for which this Invitation is issued.
TANESCO now Invites sealed Tenders from eligible National contractors registered in Class I specialist for carrying out the Supply and Installation of Air Conditions-Lot 1 and Plumbing System Installation at Newly Constructed Ubungo Electrical Workshop ~Lot 2.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding Method as specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Govemment Notice No.446 read together with Public Procurement (Amendment) Regulations G.N. No. 333 of 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined In the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, Room No. G04, TANESCO, Umeme Park Building, Ubungo, along Morogoro Road, PO. Box 9024 Dar es Salaam. Telephone +255 222 210 264; 210 267 from 09:00hrs to 16.00hrs on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Documents may be purchased by Interested Tenderers upon submission of a written application to the above address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000.00 (Tanzania shillings One Hundred Thousand only) VAT Inclusive through National Microfinance Bank (NMB) upon receipt of reference number from TANESCO.
Tenderers are allowed to quote for all two lots i.e Lot 1 and 2.
All Tenders must be accompanied by original tender securing declaration as provided in Section X of-the Tender Document.
All Tenders in one original plus three (3) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Secretary Tender Board, TANESCO office, Ground floor Room No. G 04, Umeme Park Building Ubungo, Morogoro Road, PO. Box 9024 Dar es Salaam, Telephone +255 222 210 264; 210 267 the envelopes clearly marked ”TENDER No. PAI001l2018-19IHQ/W/32 FOR SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF AIR CONDITIONS AND PLUMBING SYSTEM L07 1&2. NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 10:30 Homs on 26th July, 2019.Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend opening ceremony at the Conference Room No. G 06 located at Ground Floor, TANESCO Office, Umeme Park Building. Morogoro Road Ubungo Dar es Salaam.
