SUPPLY, INSTALLATION; TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF ABATTOIR MACHINE FOR VINGUNGUTI PROJECT, DAR ES SALAAM-TANZANIA
Invitation for Tenders
1.The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the financial year 2019-2020. lt is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Abattoir Machine for Vingunguti Project, Dar es salaam-Tanzania.
2. The National Housing Corporation-NHC (Contractor) now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Manufacturers for Supply, installation, Testing and Commissioning of Abattoir Machine for vingunguti Project, Dar es salaam-Tanzania.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the International Competitive Tendering specified in the Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No.446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS).
4. Interested eligible Manufacturers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, National Housing Corporation, KAMBARAGE HOUSE, PO Box 2977, Plot No. 1 (4th Floor) Ufukoni Street, Ally Hassan Mwinyi Road, Upanga Dar es Salaam, from 09:00AM to 03:00PM on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000.00 or Equivalent (Freely Convertible Currencies). Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Director General, National Housing Corporation, PO. Box 2977 Dar es Salaam.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender security in an acceptable form in the amount of TZS 20,000,000.00 or Equivalent (Freely Convertible Currencies).
7. All Tenders in One original plus Two Copies, properly f1|led in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address National Housing Corporation, KAMBARAGE HOUSE, P.O Box 2977, Plot No. 1 (4th Floor) Ufukoni Street, Ally Hassan Mwinyi Road, Upanga Dar es Salaam at or before 1 4:00 PM, 08th October 201 9.
8. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the National Housing Corporation Head office, Kambarage House, Plot No. 1 (4th Floor) Ufukoni Street, Ally Hassani Mwlnyi Road, Upanga Dar es Salaam.
9. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders,Tenders not received, Tende’rs not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
