This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Daily newspaper, Issue no. Issue no.1 2304 dated 12th December, 2018
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited (GASCO) during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Automatic Fire Suppression System Gas Pipeline.
GASCO now invites sealed tenders from eligible Tenderers for Supply, Installation and commissioning of automatic f1re suppression system Gas Pipeline as follows:

Bidders will be awarded both lots.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations;
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tender Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender board. Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited, Plot No.1 Block D, Kibaga Street, Kinyerezi Gas Receiving Station, Dar es Salaam,
Tanzania, Room number 04 on the first floor from 09:00 and 15:00 hours from Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tender Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs. 100,000 (Tanzania shillings One Hundred Thousand only). Payment should either be made through NMB Bank, Account Name: Gas Company (T) Limited Main Account, Account Number: 22310029011 payable to Gas Company (T) Limited.
A site visit for kinyerezi Gas Receiving Station shall be held on Monday, 27th May,2019 at 11:00 local hour time and for Somangafungu Gas Junction Station shall be held on Wednesday 29th May, 2019 at 14:00 local hour time. All tenders must be accompanied with a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tender Documents.
All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked “TENDER NO.PA/1 57/201 8-19/G/31 FOR SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING 0F AUTOMATIC FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM GAS PIPELINE’; must be delivered to the address Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited, Plot No.1 Block D, Klbaga Street, Kinyerezi Gas Receiving Station, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Room number 04 on the fIrst floor at or before Friday,14th June, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Kinyerezi Board Room at 1st floor.
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out In public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
