Invitation for Tenders
Date: 17TH APRIL 2019
1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Daily Newspaper dated Thursday 28th February 2019 and Tanzania Procurement Journal (TPJ) Issue No.Vol XII-No. 10, dated Tuesday March 5th 2019.
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Mkulazi Holding Company Limited (MHCL)during the financial year 2018/2019 It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the supply and installation of Hotwater Treatment Plant for sugarcane plantation at Mbigiri Estate, Dakawa-Morogoro region.
3. The Mkulazi Holding Company Limitednow invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers of Supply of Farm Machineries and Implements as shown below: Bidder may bid one lot or all lots. The award of contract will be on lot basis.

3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Tenders may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of The Secretary, MHCL Tender Board,Mkulazi Holding Company Limited, Mbigiri Estate, Dodoma Road, Dakawa-Morogoro, P.O.BOX 1079, (Mob: +255 786301554), MOROGORO from09:00am to 16:00 hours on Mondays to Fridays and Saturday from 09:00am to 12:00 noon inclusive except on public holidays.
5. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand (TZS 100,000.00) only. Payment should either be by Cash and Banker’s Cheque deposit to ‘’MKULAZI HOLDING CO, LTD, ACCOUNT NO. 001000213438-TSH, AZANIA BANK LTD, MASDO BRANCH-DAR ES-SALAAM payable to CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, MKULAZI HOLDING COMPANY LIMITED, P.O.BOX 1079-MOROGORO.
6. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Document without any alterations
7. All tenders in one original plus Three copies of the original document, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes and marked ‘’ TENDER NO. PA/150/2018-2019/G/07 FOR SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF HOTWATER TREATMENT PLANT FOR SUGARCANE PLANTATION AT MBIGIRI ESTATE, DAKAWA-MOROGORO REGION’’ and must be delivered to THE SECRETARY, MKULAZI HOLDING COMPANY LIMITED TENDER BOARD,MKULAZI HOLDING COMPANY LIMITED, MBIGIRI ESTATE, DODOMA ROAD, MWALIMU NYERERE MULTI PURPOSE BUILDING, PMU OFFICE, ROOM NO. 5, DAKAWA-MOROGORO, P.O.BOX 1079, MOROGORO at or before 14:30 on THURSDAY 2nd MAY 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the MKULAZI HOLDING COMPANY LIMITED MWALIMU NYERERE MULTI PURPOSE BUILDING, BOARD ROOM.
8. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
