PROCUREMENT NOTICE
1. Aquaculture Business Development Programme is a partnership between the Government of Kenya, and the International Fund for Agricultural Development [IFAD], The Programme is expected to be completed in April 2026.It is being implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock,Fisheries and Irrigation, State Department for Fisheries, Aquaculture and the Blue Economy and supervised by IFAD. The overall goal of the programme is to increase the incomes, food security and nutritional status of the wider communities of poor rural households
involved in aquaculture in the targeted Counties.
The Programme intends to use some proceeds of the loan to procure the Supply, Installation, Customization and Commissioning of an Efficient and Effective Financial & Accounting Software for the Aquaculture Business
Development Programme [ABDP], ABDP now invites qualified bidders to offer the above described service.
2. The bidding document can be downloaded by interested Bidders FREE OF CHARGE from the Ministry’s website: www.kilimo.go.ke under “tender”links
3. The original and two copies of the tender all inserted in one outer envelope and clearly marked with the tender number MOALF /SDFA&BE /ABDP /RFP/2019-2020/003 must be delivered to and dropped in the tender
box situated on 3rd Floor Maji House and addressed as follows:

on or before 5th August 2019 at 9.00 am EAT, Bulk tenders will be received and stamped in the Fisheries Procurement Office, Room Number 343 at Maji House 3,d Floor within the stipulated timelines.
4. Tenders will be opened on 5“’ August, 2019 at 9.30am EAT in the presence of the Bidders’ Representatives
who choose to attend at SDFA&BE Board Room on 6th Floor Maji House.
5. The Government of Kenya reserves the right at any time to terminate procurement proceedings.
