Invitation for Tender
For
Supply and Installation of Digital Radio System for Tarangire, Mikumi, Mkomazi, Manyara, Kilimanjaro, Gombe, Saadani, Rubondo, Katavi, Saanane, Mahale, Burigi, lbanda and Rumanyika National Parks
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for these Projects which appeared In TPJ Issue no 21 dated 21st May 2019 and at TANAPA website.
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the TANZANIA NATIONAL PARKS during the financial year 2019-2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the following contracts listed.
The TANZANIA NATIONAL PARKS now invites sealed tenders from eligible Suppliers for;

Tendering will be conducted through the NATIONAL COMPETITIVE TENDERING procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Conservation Commissioner, Tanzania National Parks, Mwalimu J.K. Nyerere Conservation Centre/Building at Burka Estate along Dodoma Road, Office No. 4, PO. Box 3134, Arusha from 08:00 am to 4:00 pm on Mondays to Fridays except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000.00 Payment should be by Cash at Office No. 44 Second Floor.
Site visit is mandatory for all mentioned parks for Tender No. PA/037/2018-19/G/142 and it will be conducted from 30th September, 2019 to 18th October, 2019 during working days on Mondays to Fridays from 08:00 am to 4:00 pm. The bid must be accompanied with written evidence from the respective National Parks which proves that the bidder visited the sites.
(i) Tender No. PA/O37/2019-20/G/16 must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
(ii) Tender No. PA/037/2018-19/G/142 must be accompanied by a Bid security in original and in an acceptable form in the amount of 2% of the bid price in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS). The Bid security shall be in a form of bank guarantee or an insurance bond issued by a reputable insurance firm addressed to Conservation Commissioner. Tanzania National Parks, and P.O Box 3134, Arusha.
All tenders in one original plus two copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes and clearly marked with Tender number and Descriptions, must be delivered to the address Conservation Commissioner, TANZANIA NATIONAL PARKS, PO. BOX 3134, ARUSHA, Office No. 4 as follows:
- Tender No. PA/037/2018-19/G/142 must be delivered at or before 1400 HRS on Wednesday, 30th October. 2019.
Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Board Room TANAPA HQ in Arusha.
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders. Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
