This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Tanzania Procurement Journal Issue No.1821-6021 Vol xii-No-27 dated Tuesday July 02, 2019.
The Government ofTanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Musoma Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (MUWASA) during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply and Installation of Centrifugal Water Pumps, Motors for Booster Station and Electrical Sub Station Transformer.
The Musoma Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority now invites sealed Tenders from eligible contractors registered or capable of being registered in class six and above for carrying out the Supply and Installation of Centrifugal Water Pumps, Motors for Booster Station and Electrical Substation Transformer.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) specified in the Procurement
Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No.446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS).
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board Secretary of Tender Board, Musoma Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority Room number two (2) Majita Road P. O. Box 233 Musoma, Telephone +255(7) 042622868, email: [email protected] and [email protected] from 08.30 to 04.00 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set ofTendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania shillings one hundred fifty thousand (150,000/=). The Tenderer who is interested to purchase a tender document shall be given a control number through address given in paragraph 5 above payable to Managing Director. Site visit will be conducted on 10th September 2019 and the pre tender meeting will be held at MUWASA head office room number three on 10th September 2019.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender securing declaration in the format provided in the Tendering ‘ documents unless otherwise stated in the TDS.
All tenders in one original plus three (3) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, Musoma Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority Room number two (2) Majita Road P. O. Box 233 Musoma at or before 02:30pm on Monday 23rd September ’ 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the MusomaUrban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority P.O. Box 233, Majita road Musoma, conference room.
Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, and Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
