INVITATION FOR TENDER
FOR Supply and Install Air Condition Arusha
1. This invitation follows the General Procurement Notice for procurement which published on www.taneps.go.tz in August 2018
2. The Bank of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operations of Arusha Branch during the financial year 2019/20. It is intended that part of the funds will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for the supply installation testing and commissioning of ducted spilt unit air condition to the Bank of Tanzania Arusha Branch.
3. The Bank of Tanzania Arusha Branch now invites sealed Tenders from eligible contractors registered or capable of been registered as electrical contractors for carrying out the supply; install testing and commissioning of ducted spilt unit air condition through Tender NO. PA/082/2019-20/AR/G/82 Lot No. 01.
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations
5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, Branch Delegated Tender Board, Bank of Tanzania-Arusha Branch, P. O. Box 3043, Arusha, Plot No. 9, Makongoro Road, 1st Floor Room No. 34B from 0830 – 1230hours and 1400 – 1530 hours on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Bidders on submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 100,000.00 Payment should either be by Electronic Payment Transfer (Account Name: Tender Application Fee, Account Number: 992 4DA ARS or Banker`s Cheque, payable to Bank of Tanzania.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a bid securing declaration in the format provided in the bidding documents.
8. All Tenders in one original plus one copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes clearly marked Tender number and must be addressed as indicated in para No. 5 at or before on Monday 21st October 2019 at 1500hours.
9. The deadline for submission of the bids is on Monday 21st October 2019 at 1500 hours Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Bank of Tanzania Arusha Branch Offices, Second floor Board Room No. 53, 02nd Floor.
10. Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids, bids not received, and not opened and not read out in public at the Bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of their circumstances.
