Invitation for Tenders

1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Daily
Newspaper, Issue no. Issue no.12304 dated 12th December,2018
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited (GASCO) during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund because to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply and Fixing of Safety Sign Boards at Somanga Fungu, Kinyerezi and Block Valve Stations (BVS), T-card Modification, Safety Sign and Signage Boards – Madimba GPP and Gas Pipeline.
3. GASCO now invites sealed tenders from eligible Tenderers for Supply and Fixing of Safety Sign Boards at Somanga Fungu, Kinyerezi and Block Valve Stations (BVS), T-Card Modification, Safety Signage, Road Marking and Signage – Boards – Madimba GPP and pipeline to the following lot

LOT A Supply of T-Card Modification, Safety Signage, Road Marking And Signage Boards – Madimba GPP
LOT B Supply and Fixing of Safety Sign Boards at Somanga Fungu, Kinyerezi and Block Valve Stations (BVS) – Gas Pipeline
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the
Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016, and is open to all
Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender board. Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited, Plot No.1 Block D, Kibaga Street, Kinyerezi Gas Receiving Station, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Room Number 04 on the 1st floor from 09:00 and 15:00 hours from Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 6 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs. 100,000 (Tanzania shillings One Hundred Thousand only). Payment should either be made through NMB Bank, Account Name: Gas Company (T) Limited Main Account, Account Number: 22310029011 payable to Gas Company (T) Limited.
7. A compulsory( mandatory) Site visiting shall be conducted as per timetable indicated hereunder:-

8. Pre-bid meeting for the same shall be conducted on Tuesday 29th July, 2019 at Kinyerezi Gas receiving station from 09:00 local Hrs and the cost of visiting the site shall be at the tenderers own expense. Non-attendance to the site visit shall be reason for disqualification.
9. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
10 . All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked “SUPPLY AND FIXING OF SAFETY SIGN BOARDS AT SOMANGA FUNGU, KINYEREZI AND BLOCK VALVE STATIONS (BVS), T-CARD MODIFICATION, SAFETY SIGNAGE, ROAD MARKING AND SIGNAGE BOARDS – MADIMBA GPP & GAS PIPELINE”, must be delivered to the address Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited, Plot No.1 Block D, Kibaga Street, Kinyerezi Gas Receiving Station, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Room number 04 on the 1st Floor on or before Friday 9th August, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at Kinyerezi Board Room on the 1st Floor.
11. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
