RE-TENDERING QUOTATION FOR SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION OF YOUNG AFRICANs SPORTS GEARS AND WEARS
BACKGROUND
Young Africans Sports Club, also known as Yanga, is a Tanzanian football club based in Twiga Street, Jangwani, Dar es Salaam. It is one of the biggest football clubs in Tanzanian football. It was established in 1935 and is the most successful Tanzanian football club in terms of trophies, with 27 premier league titles as of 2017. The club has also secured several other international trophies such as CECAFA and FA Cup.
CALL FOR QUOTATION TO SELL, DISTRIBUTE AND PROTECT YANGA 2019/2020 KITS
Management of Young Africans Sports Club do hereby invite detailed quotation from suppliers and distributors across the country and outside the country who will sell, protect and distribute on behalf of the club the official jerseys for the 2019-2020 season and all other official merchandise including sporting kits.
REQUIREMENT
- Applicants should meet the Eligibility Criteria that include existing business or Shop in the respective regions, district or area.
- Local Shop: Applicant should have shops which fans can easily access and inspect the authenticity of the jerseys.
- Yanga experience: Applicants must have more than five years of experience of selling jerseys or sports gears, spirit of entrepreneurship, knowledge of sales concept and desire to contribute to the success of Yanga.
- Financial Ability: Individuals, groups, saccos or organization which have corresponding financial strength of at least Tshs. 700,000,000]: (Tsh Seven Hundred Million Only) and have the capacity to stock jerseys and merchandises in the safe environment. Applicant shall also present audited accounts for a period of past three years
- Quality: Each Applicant shall submit a sample of the item bidding with a cotton quality material and Yanga Traditional colors
- Accept Supervision: The distributors will be supervised by Yanga management to avoid counterfeit and substandard items; the applicant is required to demonstrate mechanism for control of pirated products
- Pricing: Applicants Shall clearly indicate number of kits to be supplied categorized in different quality and pricing, clearly showing cost of production, profit margin and profit-sharing scheme with Yanga
- Applicants shall submit the quotation along with the supporting documents which include business portfolio,certif1cate of incorporation, business licenses, TIN, VAT, TAX Clearance Certificate and any other necessary documents. The proposal shall be submitted along with a non-refundable fee of Tanzania shilling One hundred thousand only (Tshs. 100,000/= VAT Exclusive) payable through direct deposit into the Young Africans Sports Club Bank Account No. 56010110000022, swift code no. UNAFTZTZ kept with UNITED BANK FOR AFRICA.

The Quotation should be in a sealed envelope clearly marked ” QUOTATION FOR SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION OF YOUNG AFRICANS SPORTS GEARS AND WEARS”

Applicant(s) shall submit the sealed envelope containing all required documents in original and two copies not later than 08th July 2019 at 16:00 hours local Tanzania time, and all bids will be opened immediately thereafter, and all bidders who wish to attend are welcome.
Late quotations will not be considered under any circumstances
