NOTICE OF SALE AND INVITATION FOR SEALED BIDS F OR SALE OF MORTGAGED LANDED PROPERTY

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that:

Under the powers contained in the mortgage deed dated 11‘” December, 2012 in favor of CRDB Bank Plc and the relevant and applicable provisions of the Land Act (Cap 113 RE. 2002) as further amended vide Act No. 2 of 2004 and pursuant to every powers enabling us to do so, We, B & E AKO LAW, on behalf of CRDB Bank Plc hereby advertise for sale the landed property comprised of Plot No. 47, Kindi Village, Moshi District with Certificate of Title No. 37876 registered in the name of Luka Bonifasi Shio.

The property with developments on it is located eight (8) kilometers from Moshi town Centre along the Moshi-Arusha Highway and it is about three (3) kilometers from Moshi-Kindi Highway near Weruweru Secondary School.

Further the property has on it two residential houses, an old temporary mud and wattle house. The property is close to all basic utilities including water and electricity and is ideal for residential use.

All interested bidders are invited to submit sealed bids for the purchase of the property.

Bids in sealed envelopes for the purchase of the property clearly marked BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF LANDED PROPERTY ON PLOT NO. 47, KINDI VILLAGE, MOSH] DISTRICT including the offer for the purchase of the landed property  with full names and addresses of the bidders should be submitted so as to reach the undersigned on the address below before 27th  September, 2019.

The bids shall be opened on the 27th September, 2019 at 12:00 local time at the address mentioned below. Bidders are invited to attend during the event should they wish to attend.

Bidders are advised and should note that, information supplied herein is without any liability to the seller and/or its agents, representatives and/or employees as to its correctness or accuracy. Independent valuation and inspection of the property is highly recommended.

The seller shall not be bound to accept the highest bid or any bid at all. The property is sold on an “as is” basis.

It is a condition that bidders submit their bids accompanied by bankers cheque in favor of CRDB Bank Pic of an amount equivalent to 10% of the bid price. For a successful bidder the said amount shall be treated as advance payment and for unsuccessful bidders will have their bid commitment amounts refunded in full without any deduction.

The successful bidder shall be required to make a 25% down payment of the offer price immediately after the award and the balance of 75% shall be paid within a period of fourteen (14) days thereafter.

In the event the balance of 75% is not paid within a period of twenty-one (21) days inclusive of the initial fourteen (14) days the seller shall forfeit the down payment and the next highest bidder shall be awarded the option to purchase.
