Invitation for Tenders
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Daily News Issue no.12402 dated 3rd June 2019.
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Repair and Maintenance of Campsite Solar Water Heater.
GASCO now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Service Providers for Repair and Maintenance of Campsite Solar Water Heater.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited, Plot No.1 Block D, Kibaga Street, Kinyerezi Gas Receiving Station, Dar-es salaam, Tanzania, Room Number 04 on the 1st floor from 9:00 and 15:00 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs. 100,000.00 (Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). Payment should be made through NMB Bank Account Name; Gas Company (T) Limited, Account Number;22310029011 Payable to Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
A compulsory (mandatory) Site visiting shall be conducted at Madimba Gas Processing Plant in Mtwara region on Wednesday 20th November 2019 at 1400 hours. Cost of visiting the site shall be at the tenderer own expense. Non-attendance to the site visit shall be reason for disqualification.
All Tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelopes marked “Repair and Maintenance of Campsite SolarWater Heater Madimba GPP, not to be opened before Friday 29th Novombcr,2019 at 1 1 :00 Hours” must be delivered to the Gas Company (Tanzania) Limited, Plot No.1 Block D, Kibaga Street, Kinyerezl Gas Receiving Station, Dar es Salaam, Room Number 04 on the 1″ floor on or before Friday 29th November 2019, 11:00hours. Tenders will be opening promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderer’s representatives who choose to attend in the opening at Kinyerezi Boardroom on the 1st 1100:.
Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, and not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
