INVITATION FOR TENDERS

Rehabilitation of Works Saza Kapalala Regional Road (3KM) R581
1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for these Projects which appeared on TANROADS Website and PPRA Tender Portal on 10th July, 2019.
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Tanzania National Reads Agency Songwe Region during the financial year 2019/20. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Rehabilitation Works along Regional Roads. The TANROADS Regional Manager Songwe Region, now invites sealed Tenders from eligible National Civil Engineering Contractors registered with the Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in Classes specified in a Table given below;
3.The approximate quantities for major work items, intended Contract period and purchase price of Tender Documents are as shown in the table given below:

4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified In the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 and are open to National Tenderers only.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further Information from and Inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary to the Delegated TANROADS Regional Tender Board, Songwe Region, P.O. 80x 86, Mbozi, Central Vwawa area along Vwawa Hasamba road. Tel: +255 25 258 0147, Fax: +255 25 258 0148 and E-mall: [email protected] from 8:00 to 16:30 hours on Mondays to Fridays Inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tender Document(s) In English Language and additional sets may be purchased by Interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 6 above and upon payment through a Control Number obtained from Regional Manager‘s Office of a non-refundable fee as specified In table given above. Payment should either be by Cash or Banker’s Cheque, payable to TANROADS Regional Manager, Songwe Region.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration In the format provided In the Tendering Documents.
8. All Tenders In one original plus one copy of the original tender, properly filled In, and enclosed In plain envelopes must be delivered to the address TANROADS Regional Manager’s Office, Songwe Region, 20. Box 86, Mbozi. Central Vwawa area along Vwawa Haumba mad at or before 10:00 hours on Monday 26th August, 2019. Tenders wIIl be opened promptly thereafter In public and In the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend In the opening at the TANROADS Regional Manager’s Office, Songwe Region.
9. Site Visit and Pre-tender Meeting will not be arranged. All Tenderers are encouraged to visit the Site at their own to familiarized the site condition.
10. Late Tenders, portion of tenders, electronics tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out In public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation Irrespective of the circumstance.
