This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB online and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website
The Government of United Republic of Tanzania received grant from the AfDB towards the cost of Reconstruction of 1800m unlined traditional irrigation channel at Mabilioni village in Same District and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to cover eligible payments under the contract for financial year 2019/2020.
The Vice President Office now invites sealed Tenders from eligible contractors for carrying out the Reconstruction of 1800m of unlined traditional irrigation channel at Mabilioni village in Same district
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board Tender Board Secretary Same District Council P. 0. Box 138 from 8.00 am up to 3.30pm of working hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 3 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tsh 100,000/=. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to DED SAME
The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Goods or Procurement of Works.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Bid security guarantee in the format provided in the Tendering documents unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
All Tenders in one original plus two (2) Copies properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Tender board Secretary Same District Council P.0. Box 138 Same Room No. 502 on or before 13/09/2019 at 10:00 am Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Same District Hall.
Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, and Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
