Invitation for Tenders
1.This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice Issue no. 1/201 9 for this Project which appeared in Zanzibar Leo Newspaper dated 21/01/2019 and Daily News dated 21/01/2019.
2. The People’s Bank of Zanzibar Limited (PBZ) has set aside funds for the operation during the financial year 2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Provision of Static Security Service in all Bank Buildings in Zanzibar and Mainland Tanzania.
3. The People’s Bank of Zanzibar Limited (PBZ) now invites sealed Tenders from eligible ‘National’ Service providers for Provision of Static Security Service in all Bank Buildings in Zanzibar and Mainland Tanzania.
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive procedures specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Asset Act No. 11 of2016.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of Tender Board, PDMU Office Mpirani, Second Floor from 0930 1530hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays. 1
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in an acceptable format as provided in this Tendering Document (Section IX).
7. A complete set of Tendering Documents In English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 200,000.00. Payment should either be by .Cash. Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to the Bank account, Tender Commitment Fees, account number 2010179510.
8. All Tenders in one original plus two (2) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Secretary of Tender Board, PDMU Office Mpirani, Second Floor at or before 1400hours on Thursday 24th October, 2019.1enders Wi“ be opened 1430 in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend In the opening at the Conference Room. 9. Late Tenders. portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, and not opened and not read out In public at the Tender 099N119 ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
