SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE
PROVISION OF SECURITY AND RECEPTION SERVICES
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of Mbeya University of Science and Technology during the financial year 2019/2020. It 1s intended that part of the fund Will be applied to cover eligible payments under contract costs for Security and Reception services.
Mbeya University of Science and Technology now invites sealed tenders from eligible Tenderers for provision of Security and Reception services as follows;

Tendering will be conducted through National Competitive Method procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446. and its Amendments of 2016 and 18 open to all Bidders as defined 1n the Regulation.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Office of the Secretary, Mbeya University of Science and Technology Tender Board, P. O. Box 131 Mbeya, from 07:30 am to 03: 30 pm local time on Monday to Friday inclusive except on Public Holidays.
A complete set of the Bidding Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Bidders on submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings one hundred thousand only (100,000/=) or its equivalent in freely convertible currency. Payment should be either by Bank deposit to Account Number 016101002687 NBC LTD Mbeya University of Science and Technology -Mekazi Shop, or by Banker’s Draft or Banker’s payment Cheque to the Vice Chancellor, Mbeya University of Science and Technology, P.O. Box 131 Mbeya.
All Tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, enclosed in plain envelopes must be accompanied by an original Tender Securing Declaration in the acceptable format and properly addressed to the Secretary, Mbeya University of Science and Technology Tender Board, P..O Box 131, Mbeya. All tenders must be delivered before the deadline for submission of tenders
The deadline for the submission of Tenders is 11:00 am local time on Tuesday, 4th June, 2019 and Tenders will be opened in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives, who choose to attend in Nyerere Hall at Mbeya University of Science and Technology, Iyunga area at 11:30 am local time, on Tuesday, 4th June, 2019
Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received and not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
