Tanzania Ports Authority has set aside funds for its operation during the financial year 2019/2020. It IS intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for PROVISION NON-OPERATIONAL AND OPERATIONAL SERVICES AT MTWARA PORT as follows:

The Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA), Mtwara Pout now invites sealed Tenders from eligible, reputable and competent Tenderers for PROVISION OF LABOURERS FOR NON-OPERATIONAL AND OPERATIONAL SERVICES AT MTWARA PORT. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures Specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, Government Notice No. 446 of 2013. The Tender is open to all Bidders as defined in the Regulations”
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the off1ce of The Secretary, Port Tender Board, Supplies Building, and P.0.BOX 530 Mtwara Port from 09.00 am. to 4:00 pm. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
Tenderers may bid for all Lots or either of the two Lots (ie) Lot 1: NON-OPERATIONAL SERVICES and Lot 11: OPERATIONAL SERVICES. Tenderers must quote for all items in that selected Lot.
A complete set of Bidding Document(s) In English may be purchased by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings 100,000/= (One Hundred Thousands only). Payment should be done using GePG system.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration per the Format provided in the Tendering Document.
All bids in One Original document plus One Copy properly filled and enclosed in a plain sealed envelope, marked “TENDER AE/016/2019-20/MTW/NC/04 FOR PROVISION OF LABOURERS FOR NON-OPERATIONAL SERVICES AND OPERATIONAL SERVICES AT MTWARA PORT” must be delivered to The Secretary, Port Tender Board, Supplies Building, P.O.BOX 530 Mtwara Port before 10:00 am. Local Time on 15th October, 2019._ Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in Public and in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend the Opening at the Conference Room located at the Port Manager’s Office at Mtwara Post.
Tenders will be closed at 10.00 am. local time on 15th October’: 2019 30d Bids WI” be opened Promptly thereafter in Public, in the presence of Bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
Late bids portion of bids, electronic bids, bids not received, and not opened and not read out in public at the Bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation Irrespective of the circumstances.
