This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this tender which appeared in Tanzania Procurement Journal dated Tuesday, 3rd July 2018.
The Kibaha Town Council (KTC) has set aside funds in the budget for financial year 2018/2019 for meeting costs of various goods, works and services. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the supply of One (1) Unit of Skip Loader of Fifteen (15) Tons for Carrying Skip Buckets.
The Government Procurement Services Agency on behalf of the Kibaha Town Council (an Implementing Agent) now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Tenderers for carrying out the supply of One (1) Unit of Skip Loader of Fifteen (15) Tons for Carrying Skip Buckets.
Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013- Government Notice No. 446 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, Government Procurement Services Agency Tender Board, P. O. Box 9150, Dar es Salaam from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays. Alternatively the interested Tenderers may view the tender document in the Government Procurement Services Agency website (www.gpsa.go.tz) and PPRA website.
A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional set may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only (TZS 100,000.00). Payment should be made after getting CONTROL NUMBER from GPSA Office. Banking particulars (Banking Pay In Slips) should be submitted to the GPSA Office for acknowledgment of payment. Payment out of control number shall not be acceptable.
All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
All tenders in one (1) original plus two (2) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the following address:

Room No. 11 on Monday 1st July, 2019 at or before 10:00 Hours Local Time. Envelopes should bear the words: “IFT No AE/005/HQ/2018/2019/TPP/G/08: DO NOT OPEN BEFORE MONDAY 1ST JULY, 2019 AT 10:00 HOURS LOCAL TIME. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the GPSA Conference room.
Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not received. Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
