FOR PROVISION OF GENERATOR OVERHAUL SERVICES AT UBUNGO PLAZA
INVITATION FOR TENDERS
Date: 3rd June, 2019
1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice
for this Project which appeared in Tanzania Procurement Journal
(TPJ) dated Tuesday, 30th July, 2018.
2. The Ubungo Plaza Limited has set aside funds for the operation during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of UPL will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Provision of Generator Overhaul Services at Plaza.
3. Ubungo Plaza Limited now invites sealed Tenders from eligible
National Service providers of Generator Overhaul Services.
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Tender Board Secretary, Ubungo Plaza Limited,1st Floor,Ubungo Plaza Complex, Along Morogoro Road, P.O.Box 55613, Dar es Salaam Tanzania from 08:00am to 16:00pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional
sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a
written application to the address given below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only
(TZS 100,000.00). Payment should be done through cash at CRDB Bank,
Account Name: Ubungo Plaza Limited, Account Number: 01J1020656500
7. All tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in the
format provided in the Tendering Documents.
8. All bids in one original plus one copy properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes clearly marked “Tender PA/114/ HQ/2018-2019/ NC/16 for Provision of Generator Overhaul Services at Ubungo Plaza must be delivered to the address below on or before Monday 17th June, 2019, 14:00pm. Bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representative who will choose to attend the opening ceremony at Ubungo Plaza Limited, Conference Room, 1st Floor, Ubungo Plaza Complex, Morogoro Road.
9. Late Tenders, Portion of Tenders, Electronic Tenders, Tenders not
received, Tenders not opened and not read out in public at the
tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation
irrespective of the circumstances.
