INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which appeared in Tanzania Procurement Journal Issue no. 26 dated 26th June 2018.
National Insurance Corporation of Tanzania Limited has set aside funds for the operation during the financial year 2018/2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Provision of Consultancy Services for Developing NIC’s ICT Master Plan.
National Insurance Corporation (T) Limited now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services which include Provision of Consultancy Services for Developing NIC’s ICT Master Plan.
Interested individual consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting updated CVs, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions and relevant skills. Interested individual consultants must also submit Financial Proposal in writing.
You are requested to submit your written expression of interest, one (1) original detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Financial Proposal plus two (2) copies of detailed CV and Financial Proposal in writing by Monday, 06th May, 2019 at 14:00 pm. The Detailed CV and Financial Proposal shall each be enclosed in a separate envelope and marked ”Detailed CV” and ”Financial Proposal” respectively. The two envelopes shall then be enclosed in a single envelope and marked ”Proposal for the Provision of Consultancy Services for Developing NIC’s ICT Master Plan and submitted to the following address: The Secretary Tender Board, National Insurance Corporation (T) Limited, P.O.Box 9264, Dar es Salaam.
The opening of CVs shall take place immediately after the deadline for submission, at National Insurance corporation (T) Limited Head office Corner of Samora avenue / Pamba road at seventh floor. Applying individual consultants are invited to attend the opening ceremony.
The Consultant will be selected in accordance with the National Selection procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act No. 07 of 2011 and the Public Procurement (Selection and Employment of Consultants) Regulations Government Notice No. 446 2013 as amended in 2016.
Prospective Individual Consultants are required to collect the Terms of Reference from the Secretary, Tender Board, whose address is indicated on paragraph 5 above, during working days (Monday to Friday) between 800HRS 1600HRS. CVs shall be evaluated on the basis of the criteria shown in the Terms of Reference. Only
individual Consultant scoring above 75% with reasonable quoted fee shall be engaged to carry out the assignment.
Any request for clarification with regard to this assignment shall be addressed to the SECRETARY NIC TENDER BOARD, 7TH FLOOR, NIC (T) LTD, HEAD OFFICE, P.O.Box 9264 DAR ES SALAAM. The Client shall respond to clarification received not less than three days before the deadline for submission.
Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
