for Provision of Catering Services for the Office of the National Assembly
Invitation for Tenders
1.This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Daily News Issue No.12437 dated 2nd August, 2019.
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Office of the National Assembly during the financial year2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the provision of catering services for the Office of the National , Assembly.
3. The Office of the National Assembly now invites sealed Tenders from eligible National service providers for provision of catering services for the Office of the National Assembly.
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering (NCT) procedures specif1ed in the Public Procurement (Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, Office of the National Assembly, P. O. Box 941, Dodoma. Administration Block, Second Floor, Room No. 222 from 8:00 hours to 15:30 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Documents in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS. 100,000.00. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Clerk of the National Assembly.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents.
8. All Tenders in one original plus Two Copies, properly tilled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address Secretary of the Tender‘ Board, office of the National Assembly Dodoma. Administration Block, Second Floor, Room No. 222 at or before 14:30 hours local time on 22nd October, 2019. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Office of the National Assembly Dodoma. Administration Block, Second Floor, Conference Room No. 227.
9. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, and not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances,
