PROVISION OF AUCTION SERVICE FOR DISPOSAL OF PUBLIC ASSET
1. This invitation for pre-qualification follows the General Procurement Notice that appeared in the Daily News. ISSN 0856-3812 No.12401 of 30.5.2019.
2. The Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority has set aside funds towards the cost of items as shown on table number 3 below
3. The Dar es Salaam Water and Sewerage Authority intends to pre-qualify Applicants for Lot 12: Provision of Auction Service for Disposal of Public Asset
It is expected that invitations/quotations to tender will be made in financial year 2019-2021. Bidders may bid for a single lot or more than one lot, and should mark / specify the lot applied on the cover page of bid document.
4. Pre-qualification will be conducted through the procedures specified in Regulation 119 of the Public Procurement (Regulations, Government Notice 446 of 2013, and is open to all Applicants as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested applicants may obtain further information from and inspect the pre-qualification documents at the office of Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board, DAWASA Building, Dunga/Malanga Street, Opposite Mwananyamala Hospital P.O BOX 1573 Dar es Salaam from 0800 to 16:00 hrs on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of pre-qualification documents in English may be purchased by interested Applicants on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzanian Shillings One Hundred Thousand (TZS 100,000.00) Payment should be done by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, or telegraphic transfer to Chief Executive Officer, Account Name: DAWASA, Account Number 01J1021921900 CRDB Bank Plc, Tower Branch, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. SWIFT code CORUTZTZ. Interested tenderer’s shall obtain control number for payment at DAWASA office, Sokoine Drive (Driver) near NSSF Waterfront Building. The pay in slip should be submitted and collect the tender document from the Secretary of tender Board, DAWASA Building, Dunga / Malanga Street, opposite Mwananyamala Hospital, Dar es Salaam.
7. The Applications for pre-qualification in one original plus one copy should be submitted in plain sealed envelope clearly marked tender and lot(s) reference and must be delivered to the Secretary, DAWASA Tender Board, DAWASA Building, Dunga/Malanga Street, Opposite Mwananyamala Hospital PO BOX 1573 Dar es Salaam) at or before 11.00 hrs 17th September, 2019. Applications will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Applicants’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the DAWASA Building, Dunga/Malanga Street, Opposite Mwananyamala Hospital. All tenders in one original plus one copy enclosed in plain sealed envelopes and must not accompanied by tender security.
8.Late applications, portion of applications, electronic applications, and applications not received, applications not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
