PROPOSED DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF SPORTS TRAINING COMPLEX, HOSTEL AND ALLIED FACILITIES ON PLOT NO 896/1 BLOCK “A” AT KIGOGO KISARAWE II AREA IN KIGAMBON MUNICIPALITY – DAR ES SALAAM TANZANIA

BID NO YSC/001/2020-20221/HQ/W/01 – Phase I

1. This invitation follows the long term strategic plan of Young Africans Sports Club and in particular the resolution made thereof by the young African executive committee in 2019
2. YANGA has been mobilizing funds for the sports training complex construction project (Phase I) to be built at Kigambon during the financial year 2020/2021, its intended that part of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract of the Proposed Design And Construction Of Sports Training Complex, Hostel And Allied Facilities On Plot No 896/1 Block “A” At Kigogo Kisarawe II Area In Kigambon Municipality – Dar Es Salaam
3. YANGA now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders(contractors) Registered in Class 2 and above for both CIVIL & BUILDING CATEGORIES) for the design and construction Of sports training complex,H ostel and allied facilities on plot no 896/1’A’ at the Kigogo Kisarawe II area, Kigambo Municipality Dar es Salaam Tanzania
4. The scope will comprise design and construction of two training pitches(one natural pitch and another artificial pitch) changing and match officials block of Hostels, supporting Amenities like underground water tanks, sprinklers for pitch watering, pitches lighting etc with associated site works storm water drainage, driveways, walkways, landscaping and parking

The scope of this work is grouped into a single package as PHASE I

5. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive bidding procedures and specified in the procurement(goods, works, non consultancy services and disposal of public assets by tender) Regulations as amended in 2016 and are open to all eligible building contractors
6. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the biding document at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Board, (Club Secretary General) Young African Sports Club, Headquarters Twiga/Jangwan Street, P.O. BOX 15202 Dar es Salaam from 9:00 – 3:00 PM Monday – Friday inclusive except on public holidays
7. A complete set of tendering document in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of non refundable fee of TZS 200,000/ payment should either be by Cash, Bankers Draft or Bankers Cheque payable to Young Africans Club, P.O. BOX 15202 Dar es Salaan
8. All bids must be accompanied by bid security of TZS 80,000,000.00 in the format of a bank guarantee provided in the bidding document, this shall be enclosed with Technical Submission

All bids in one original plus 3 copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain separate inner “technical proposal” and “financial Proposal” as appropriate sealed in one plain outer marked “ORIGINAL” COPIES” sealed in one plain envelope must be delivered to the address below at or before 3:00 PM 18TH December 2020 , bids will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the YANGA HQ Twiga/ Jangwani street P.O. 11. Late bids, portion of bids, electronic bids, not received bids, not opened at the bid opening ceremony shall not be acceptable for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances
