PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION WORKS FOR ZRB PEMBA OFFICE BUILDING AT GOMBANI – CHAKE CHAKE – PEMBA
1. This Imitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPX) for Zanzibar Revenue Board that appeared in the Zanzibar Leo of 29lhAugust, 2018 and through ZRB e-procurement Web Portal: www.zanrevenue.org/eproc/
2. The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has set aside funds for the operation of Zanzibar Revenue Board (ZRB) during the Financial Year 2018 2019. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for the Proposed Construction Works for ZRB Pemba Office Building at Gombani – Chake Chake – Pemba.
3. The Zanzibar Revenue Board (ZRB) now imites sealed tenders from eligible Building Contractors Class I for carrying out the Proposed Construction Works for ZRB Pemba Office Building at Gombani – Chake Chake – Pemba.The work will involve the construction of six storey building (B-rG+4) and will cover the estimated total built area of 5387 square meters.
4. Tendering will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods. Works, Consultant Sendee and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Act No.11 of 2016 and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents from 08.00 to 17.00 hours local time Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays at the office of the Secretary of Tender Board.

6. A complete set of Tendering Documents) in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TZS 200.000.00 (Tanzanian Shillings Two Hundred Thousand Only).Payment should be by bank payable to Zanzibar Revenue Board through the following bank details; Bank name -People Ban!: of Zanzibar (PBZ) A.C Name; Commissioner -Zanzibar Revenue Board and AC No.021103000475. Also interested eligible bidder may download tender document through ZRB e-procurement Web Portal : www.zanrevenue.org/eproc/
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing’ in an acceptable form in the amount of TZS 20.000.000.00 (Tanzanian Shillings Twenty Million Only) or freely convertible currencies in case of foreign currencies. Tender security shall be a Bank Guarantee in the format provided under Section X of the Tendering document from a reputable Bank.
8. All tenders in one original plus three copies, properly filled in. and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the PMU Office. Second Floor. Room No 209, Zanzibar Revenue Board, Mazizini. P.O Box 2072, Zanzibar at or before 10.00 hours local time on Monday 15th July, 2019 must be written “Construction Works for ZRB Pemba Office Building at Gombani – Chake Chake – Pemba, NOT OPENED UNTILL ON 15th July, 2019 at 10.00hrs. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend at Zanzibar Revenue Board Conference Room.
9. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, and tenders not received and tenders not opened at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
