Proposed Construction of Kakonko Ultra-Modern Bus Stand to Be Built at Kakonko in Kigoma Region

Kakonko District Council intends to construct the Kakonko Bus Stand to be built at Kakonko in Kigoma region during the financial year 2018/2019. Kakonko District Council now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors registered in Class Three and above by the Contractors Registration Board for Proposed Construction of Kakonko Ultra-Modern Bus Stand to Be Built at Kakonko in Kigoma Region
1.Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement (Goods, Works, Non Consultant Service and Disposal of Public Assets by Tender) Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 and is open to national Bidders only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in theTender Data Sheet..
2. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office Secretary, Kakonko District Council, from 8:00 to 15:30hrs on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs.150,000.00 (Tanzania Shillings One Hundred)
3. Thousands).Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Kakonko District Council.
4. All Tenders must be accompanied by an original tender security in an acceptable form of Bank Guarantee from a reputable firm in an amount equivalent to 2% of the Tender Price in the format provided in the Tendering document and properly addressed to the District Executive Director, P.O. Box 3, and Kakonko.
All tenders in one original plus two copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address below, Secretary Kakonko District Council Tender Board, P.O. Box 3, Kakonko at or before 15:30hr, on 11STApril 2019.The tender must be marked ‘’TENDER FOR PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF KAKONKO ULTRA MODERN BUS STAND TO BE BUILT AT KAKONKO IN KIGOMA REGION.
5. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of tenderers representatives who choose to attend in the opening ceremony at the Kakonko District Head Quarters
6. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, and tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance.
