INVITATION FOR TENDER (IFT)

FOR

PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF CLASSROOM AND OFFICE BLOCK AT MAWENI PRIMARY SCHOOL IN KIGAMBONI MUNICIPALITY, DAR ES SALAAM.

1. Good Neighbors Tanzania has set aside funds towards the cost of proposed construction of classroom and Office block at Maweni primary school in Kigamboni Municipal, Dar essalaam.
2. Good Neighbors Tanzania invites sealed tenders from tenderers registered in Class VII and above with Contractors Registration Board for the proposed construction of classroom at Maweni primary school in Kigamboni Municipal, Dar essalaam.
3. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from and inspectthetenderdocumentsattheofficeofGoodNeighborsTanzania,P.O. Box 33104, Dar es Salaam from 08:00am to 03:00pm, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
4. A complete set of tendering documents in ENGLISH may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application at Good Neighbors Head Office. After submission of a written application, bidders will be given bank account detail for payment of a non-refundable fee of Tsh 100,000/= and be required to submit bank deposit slip.
5. The bid in one original plus two copy, enclosed in separate plain inner envelope and marked ‘Original’ and ‘Copy’ as appropriate, sealed in one plain outer envelope, properly addressed to “GOOD NEIGHBORS TANZANIA; P.O. Box 33104, DAR ES SALAAM. And clearly marked as follows: “TENDER NO. GNT/004/2020/HO PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF CLASSROOM AND OFFICE BLOCK AT MAWENI PRIMARY SCHOOL IN KIGAMBONI MUNICIPALITY, DAR ES SALAAM. DO NOT OPEN BEFORE 3RD NOVEMBER 2020 AT 10:00 HOURS LOCAL TIME”.
6. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 (Ninety) days after tender opening. Tenders shall be delivered physically to Good Neighbors Head Office Dar es Salaam on or before 03/11/2020 at 10:00 Hours. Tenders shall be opened shortly thereafter at the same address in the presence of the bidders who choose to attend.
7. Telegraphic, Telex, Telefax and applications which are received late will not be accepted. Bids not received and not opened at public opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstance and will be returnedunopened.
