PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF NGELEWALA MODERN ABBATOIR

INVITATION FOR TENDERS

The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Iringa Municipal Council during the financial year 2019/2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for construction and completion of Ngelewala modern abbatoir.

The lringa Municipal Council now invites sealed Tenders from eligible contractors registered or capable of being registered in Class V and above for carrying out the construction and completion of Ngelewala abattoir. The following are approximate quantities for major bill items:

Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive tendering procedures specified in the Public, Procurement Regulation 2013 Government Notice No 446 and is open to all bidders as defined in the Regulation unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data sheet.

Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the:

From 1:30 am to 3:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive

save on public holidays.

A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 3 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tshs. 100,000/=. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker‘s Cheque, payable to Municipal Director, Iringa Municipal Council

All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender securing declaration in the format provided in the Tendering documents unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.

All Tenders in one original plus three (3), properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address:

at or before 10:00 hours local time on the 3^rd  October 2019 and tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers‘ representatives who choose to attend the opening ceremony at lringa Municipal Council Hall.

Late Tenders portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders. Tenders not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
