FOR

PROCUREMENT OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT, APPARATI AND REAGENTS FOR 1258 SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN MAINLAND TANZANIA

INVITATION FOR TENDER

1. This invitation for tender follows the general procurement notice for this project which appeared in Tanzania National e-Procurement System (TANePS) on 2nd October 2018
2. The government of the United Republic of Tanzania through the president’s office- Regional Administration and Local Government has received fund from education programme for Result (EP4R) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this fund to cover eligible payments under the contract for “procurement of laboratory equipment’s Apparati and Reagents for 1258 secondary school for classes of chemistry, physics and Biology in Mainland Tanzania
3. The permanent secretary president’s office- Regional Administration and Local Government now invites sealed tenders for eligible suppliers of science Equipment’s, Apparati and Reagents for 1258 Secondary School for classes of Chemistry, Biology and Physics as tabulated here below

Tenderers may quote for two or all three lots.  Tenders not quoting for all items and quantities n the lot will be considered – non responsive and rejected for evaluation

4. Tendering will be conducted thought International Competitive Tendering procedure specific in the public procurement regulations 2013- Government Notice No. 446 As amended in 2016 and is open to all tenders as defined as in the Regions

5. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain information’s and inspect the tender document at the office of the Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government, P.O. BOX 1923, Mkapa House, Ground Floor, Room No. 02 Dodoma, Tanzania. From 09:00 hours to 15:00 on Mondays to Friday except on Public Holidays

6. A complete set of tender document In English may be purchased by interested tenderers upon submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee TZS 150,000.00 (Tanzania Shillings one hundred firty Thousand only).  Payment should either be by cash, Bankers, draft or bankers Cheque payable to the permanent Secretary, PRESIDENT OFFICE- Regional Administration and Local Government Bidders who purchased tenderer document for tender No. ME/022/2017/2018/HQ/G/21 dates 18^th December 2017 which was cancelled re requested to collect tender document without payment upon written application

7. All tenders must be accompanied by tender Securities Clearly Addressed to the Permanent Secretary, President’s Office- Regional Administration and Local Government in freely convertible currency and equivalent amount stated below

• TZS 70,000,000.00 (Tanzania Shillings Sixty nine million eight hundred eighty one thousand hundred only) for – procurement of chemistry equipment Apparati and reagents for 1258 secondary school in Mainland Tanzania

• TZS 70,000,000.00 (Tanzania Shillings Sixty nine million eight hundred eighty one thousand hundred only) for – procurement of Physics equipment Apparati and reagents for 1258 secondary school in Mainland Tanzania

• TZS 70,000,000.00 (Tanzania Shillings Sixty nine million eight hundred eighty one thousand hundred only) for – procurement of Biology equipment Apparati and reagents for 1258 secondary school in Mainland Tanzania

8. All tenders in one original plus two copies properly filled in and enclosed in plain envelop must be delivered to the following address Secretary of the Ministerial Tender Board, President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government, 8^th Avenue/Hospital Road, Mkapa House Ground Floor, Room No. 2, P.O. BOX 1932 Dodoma, Tanzania at or before Wednesday 27^TH March 2019 at 10: Hours Local time. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public in the public and in the presence of tender’s representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the President Officer- Regional Administration and Local Government Conference Hall, Mkapa House, ground Floor, Dodoma, Tanzania.

9. Late tenderers portion of tenders, Electronic tenders note received tenders not opened and note read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accept for evaluation irrespective  of the circumstances.
