TANROADS REGIONAL MANAGER’S OFFICE DODOMA

For
Periodic, Routine /Recurrent Maintenance, Bridge Major Repairs, Bridge Preventive Maintenance and Spot Improvement works for Trunk & Regional Roads in Dodoma Region.
This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for Financial Year 2019/20 which was published in the Public Procurement Regulations Authority (PPRA) and TANROADS websites on 18th May, 2019.
The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) Dodoma Region during the Financial Year 2019/20. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payments under the Contracts for Periodic, Routine/Recurrent Maintenance, Bridge Major Repairs, Bridge Preventive Maintenance and Spot Improvement works for Trunk & Regional Roads in Dodoma Region.
The TANROADS Regional Manager, Dodoma Region, on behalf of the Chief Executive, TANROADS now invites sealed tenders from eligible National Civil Contractors and Specialist contractors registered with the Contractors Registration Board (CR8) in Classes specified in the table below for carrying out of Periodic, Routine/Recunent Maintenance, Bridge Preventive Maintenance and Spot Improvement works for Trunk & Regional Roads In Dodoma Region.
The approximate quantities for major works items, Intended Contract Period, site visit dates and purchase price of each Tender are as shown on table below

Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016 and is open to national Tenderers only as defined in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet.
Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tendering Documents from the office of the Regional Manager TANROADS, P.o. Box 902 Dodoma Telephone No. 0262320392, Fax No. 026-2321257 and email address [email protected] from 8.00 am to 4.30 pm on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays.
A complete set of Tendering Document (5) in English and additional sets may be purchased by Interested Tenderers upon the submission of a written
application letter to the address given under paragraph 5 above and payment of a non-refundable fee as specified in paragraph 3 above for each tender. Payment should other be by Cash, Bankers Draft or Banker‘s Cheque, payable to TANROADS Regional Manager. Dodoma Region.
All Tenders must be accompanied by either a Tender Security in acceptable form In the amount as stated In Tender Data sheet or Tender Securing Declaration In the format provided ln the Tendering Documents or Tendre Security as specified In the Tender Data Sheet.
All Tenders in one original plus two copies. properly filled in, and enclosed In plain envelopes must be delivered to the following address; The Secretary of Delegated TANROADS Regional Tender Board, Dodoma Region, PO. Box 902 Dodoma at or before 10.00 am on Tuesday, 02nd July, 2019.Tendet will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the TANROADS Regional Manager’s office. Joint site visit lo: individual projects will be conducted on dates shown in the table under paragraph 3 above at Tenderers own cost. Tenderer’s are encouraged to attend the site Visit scheduled to start at TANROADS Regional Manager‘s office Dodoma Region at 09.00hrs local time.
Late Tenders Partial Tenders. electronic Tenders, Tenders not received, Tenders not opened and not read out In public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted lo: evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
