FOR MAJOR REPAIR WORKS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SAADANI BOX CULVERT ALONG MBUYUNI – SAADANI ROAD

1. This Invitation for tender follows General Procurement Notice which appeared in TANROADS Website on 17th May 2019, PPRA Tenders Portal, and in Tanzania Procurement Journal.
2. The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) intends to apply part of Road Funds and Development Funds for year 2019/20 budget to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Periodic Maintenance, Major
Bridge Repair, Rehabilitation, Upgrading and Road Safety Works on Various Trunk and Regional Roads in Coast Region
3. The Regional Manager TANROADS – Coast Region, on behalf of the Chief Executive, Tanzania National Roads Agency – (TANROADS) referred to as Employer, invites sealed tenders from eligible Tenderers for the Periodic Maintenance, Major Bridge Repair, Construction of Box Culverts, Rehabilitation, Upgrading and Road Safety Works on Various Trunk and Regional Roads in Coast Region, which comprises the following

4. Tendering will be conducted through National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations (Amendment), 2016 and is open to National Tenderers only as defined in the Regulation.
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from TANROADS Regional Manager’s Office, Coast Region, located at Kibaha Town, P.O. Box 30150, Coast, Tel: + 255 23 2935012 Fax: 023 2935013
from 8:00 am to 04:30 pm on Monday to Friday inclusive except on weekends and public holidays.
6. A complete set of tendering document(s) may be purchased by any interested eligible Bidder on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of non-refundable fee shown under each Tender. Payment should be payable through the bank or electronic payment after receiving control number issued by Accountant from Regional Manager, TANROADS Coast Region.
7. All tenders in one original plus three copies (copies should include all supporting documents), properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the address, The Secretary, Delegated TANROADS Regional Tender Board, P.O. Box 30150 Kibaha – Coast, on or before as shown below:

9. Tenders will be opened in public and in the presence of Bidders’ representative who choose to attend in the opening at the Regional Manager’s Office, Coast, shortly after closing time and date.
10. The tender validity period shall be 120 days.
11. Telegraphic, Telefax or similar submissions will not be accepted. Tenders not received and not opened in public at tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
12. All tenders must be registered to The Secretary, Delegated TANROADS Regional Tender Board, Coast. Submitted copies should be copies of the original tender document since copies will be evaluated.
