Leasing Space for installation and operate Automated vending machine within DART System Corridor Phase I
1. The DAR RAPID TRANSIT Intends to Lease Space for Installation and operate Automated vending machine within DART System Corridor Phase I. The Leasing Space which includes 5 terminals and 27 stations are leased on ”as is, where is” basis and the procuring entity shall have no further liability during the leasing period.
2. The DAR RAPIDTRANSIT now invites sealed tenders for the lease of prospective bidders to install and operate Automated Vending Machines Terminals and Stations in the areas identified within DART system corridor under Phase I on payment of Monthly Rental fees to the Agency. The areas are located as follows:
Lot No.1: Kariakoo Gerezani Zone ( Gerezani to Mapipa Station).
Lot No.2: Kivukoni Zone ( DIT Station to Kivukoni Terminal).
Lot no. 3: Morocco Zone ( Magomeni Hospitali to Morocco Terminal). Lot no. 4: Ubungo zone (Usalama Station to Ubungo Terminal).
Lot no. 5: Kimara Zone ( Ubungo Maji Station to Kimara Terminal).
3. Tendering will be conducted through the NATIONAL COMPETITIVE TENDERING procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 and Public Procurement (amended) Regulations, 2016 Government Notice No. 333 and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
4. Interested tenderers may inspect the Leasing Space for installation and operate vending machine within DART System Corridor Phase I on 30th August 2019 from 09:00 am-01:00 pm
5. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, DART Agency Tender Board, P.O. Box 724, Dar-es-Salaam, LAPF Tower, Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, Tel. No: (255) 22 = H 2461 093/4/6 from 0900 1530 hours local time on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except 1 3 on public holidays. 3?
6. A complete set of Tendering Document(s) in English and additional set may be purchased by interested tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of TSH 100,000. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to Chief 1 Executive, Dar Rapid Transit Agency, P.O. Box 724, Dar Es Salaam.
7. All tenders must be accompanied by an original tender security in an acceptable form
8. Tenders must be delivered to the address below at or before 10.00 hours local time. Tenders will be opened in public and in the presence of Tenderers representatives who choose to attend the opening ceremony in the Conference Room, Dar Rapid Transit Agency, LAPF Tower, Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania on Friday 06th September, 2019 at 10.00 hours local time.
9. Late tenders, portion of tenders, electronic tenders, tenders not received, tenders not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
